In a new study by the University of Wisconsin-Madison, children who are exposed to lead are almost three times more likely to experience school suspension by the 4th grade than kids who are not exposed.
The study, to be published in the September 2013 issue of Environmental Research, was funded jointly by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Wisconsin Partnership Program Education and Research Committee.
