In a research published in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science, getting children to make a choice in sharing their own toys make them share more in the future.

Psychological scientists Nadia Chernyak and Tamar Kushnir of Cornell University found that it is important to rehash which factors may help in young children's sharing behavior.
