New Study Shows Long-Term Benefits of Emergency Safe Spaces for Children

A new Columbia University and World Vision research finds that spaces created to keep children safe after an emergency or conflict can help them cope from trauma.

World Vision's Director of Global Humanitarian Operations, Heather MacLeod said that they used Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) to support and protect children, and let them remember what it's like to be a child again after a plight.
