Federal TANF Funds for Child Care Reaches Lowest Point

The decline in TANF spending used for child care has reached its lowest level in since 1998.

A number of families have been affected by the sudden drop in federal TANF funds, which left them deprived of cash assistance for child care. With the recent sequestration, it will only leave even more children without the care they deserve.
