Mindfulness Practice Can Reduce Stress and Burnout Among Teachers

A new study conducted by the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds (CIHM) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Waisman Center shows that teachers who undergo mindfulness training were able to reduce their own levels of stress and prevent burnout.

The study aims to assess results using measures that could be affected by mindfulness training. Assistant Scientist Lisa Flook led the study which is seen in the Mind, Brain and Education journal.
