A new research published in the September 2013 issue of The FASEB Journal suggests that dieting before getting pregnant is not sufficient to prevent diabetes risks, but it could also actually pose new risks.
According to Gerald Weissmann, M.D., Editor-in-Chief of The FASEB Journal, the findings helped to understand how body weight affects health and the health of children, right down to the genetic level.
