Feeling Stressed? Call Disaster Distress Helpline


According to Psychologist Dr. Dan Dodgen, director, Division for At-Risk Individuals, Behavioral Health and Community Resilience at Department of Health and Human Services, people who are feeling anxious and stress can contact the Disaster Distress Helpline.

The helpline, which provides crisis counseling, healthy coping tips and distress recognition, is free of charge and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is staffed by counselors from a network of crisis call centers located across the United States.
