Florida Gains $8 Billion Grants for Navigator Programs

The US Department of Health and Human Services announced it will fund $67 billion for navigator programs as part of the federally run insurance exchange.

Florida earns a portion of the grants reaching up to $8 billion, which will largely depend on a network of workers, called navigators, who will reach out to the uninsured and help them understand their insurance options.
