Joining Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin and City Councilman Cameron Runyan in a conference are business leaders to address a plan in dealing with the city's homeless.

News conference speakers in the Barringer Building cited statistics to show how severely the homeless who congregate in the inner city are hurting downtown's economy.
