The Lake-Geauga Fund of the Cleveland Foundation and the Every Community Online Grant awarded the Mentor Public Library with two separate technology grants.
According to library officials, the fund will be used to purchase 20 laptop computers that will be utilized for patron in-house use and computer classes in the main library.
Social enterprise, HandiConnect, wins the Audacious-Business Idea competition’s Doing Good category. The company is spearheaded by University of Otago entrepreneurship master’s student Nguyen Cam Van.
