In Urban Institute's July 2013 final report about the types of violence and abuse experiences youth have via technology, more than a quarter of youth in a relationship said they experienced some form of cyber dating abuse victimization during the previous year.
Females reported greater levels of nonsexual cyber dating abuse perpetration than males. In contrast, however, young males were more likely to report perpetrating sexual cyber dating abuse.
