Obese Children Quadruple Their Risk of High Blood Pressure in Adulthood


The American Heart Association Meeting Report suggests that childhood obesity may quadruple high blood pressure risk in adulthood.

The findings pinpoint at the public health risks posed by overweight and obesity in childhood. The study results are also part of evidence that heart disease may outset during childhood.
