Contra Costa County Groups Receive Funding for Human Trafficking Victims

Two Contra Costa County organizations have been recently handed out $700,000 in federal funds to support victims of violence and human trafficking.

The $400,000 of the grant will go to the Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services Department and $300,000 will go to STAND! For Families Free of Violence. The US Department of Justice Office of Victims of Crime and the Office on Violence Against Women provided the grants.
