A new study published online, "Challenges Facing Medicaid Expansion in the U.S.," presents a global perspective on the challenges facing the Medicaid expansion.
The study finds the Affordable Care Act "reignites a fundamental tension in the United States between federal and state decision-making." However, it concludes that the Medicaid expansion, together with other coverage expansion provisions, have the possibility to be beneficial in the United States.
