Driving Out Homelessness


The annual "Driving Out Homelessness" benefit was held at the Kountry Resort Campground to add to the public aid that homeless families get.

Homeless liaison, Linda Michael, hopes to reduce the growing rate of homelessness and wishes to have more fundraising events like the "Driving Out Homelessness" benefit in Ohio. The state ranks with the most homeless residents nationwide.

Nonprofit impact investing firm, Acumen, has invested $1.2 million to KZ Noir, a Rwanda-based coffee processing company owned by Kaizen Venture Partners. The investment will equip KZ Noir the funds for working capital, debt refinancing, and capacity expansion.
