New Study Says Addiction Can\'t Be Completely Left Behind

A new study in Biological Psychiatry finds that once people develop an addiction, they can never completely get over their attraction to the abused substance.

Krishna Patel at Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital and her team of researchers also found that lengthened abstinence from cocaine may lay out only a subset of the brain abnormalities linked with active drug use.
