Importance of Preserving Ties with Family During Imprisonment

University of Huddersfield researchers published a paper in the Prison Service Journal that examines what impact family ties and relationships can have on the prisoner, as well as how imprisonment can influence the family.

The researchers document the evaluation of the Family Support Project (FSP) that finds the benefits of Family Days in maintaining family ties, and Final Contact adoption visits for people bidding farewell to children.
