Burma Civil Society Groups Goes on a Study Trip to Sri Lanka


Members of a Burma civil society group comprised of lawyers, journalists, women social rights advocates, among others, have embarked on a trip to Colombo to meet with and learn from the experiences of civil society organizations who had already experienced years and years of conflict.

It is expected that the 10-member group on its return to Burma, would share with organizations what they learned – the knowledge and experience gained while in Sri Lanka.
