Recession Forces 65 Years and Older to Stay in Workforce


According to a report in the New York Times, baby boomers seem way better off than most age groups in the workforce.

An increasing number of workers aged 65 and older opt out of retirement and stay longer in the workforce due to economic recession. Census data also shows that the unemployment rate for Americans 55 and older is lower than for any other age group.
