A Five-Component Plan to Ending Homelessness


The United to End Homelessness coalition will release its "Roadmap to Ending Homelessness," which present the reforms necessary to eradicate homelessness in the city.

There are five feasible components of the plan: Invest in programs that keep families stably housed; Prioritize a portion of existing housing resources to homeless families; Build and preserve homes that are affordable to the city’s lowest-income families; Invest in supportive housing; and Create an inter-agency council on homelessness.
