Home-Delivered Meals for Seniors Mean States Could Save Money

According to a new study from the Brown University public health researchers, if every state in the US has expanded the number of seniors getting meals by just 1 percent, more than a thousand Medicaid recipients avoid living in a nursing home.

The study also shows that most states would experience a net annual savings from executing the expansion. Among the states, Pennsylvania would see the greatest net savings.
