Affordable housing initiatives are moving in multi-pronged targets to tackle the affordable housing crisis, thanks to the Social Planning Cowichan(SPC).

Joy Emmanuel, SPC's affordable-housing co-ordinator explains that raising awareness is the first step to tackling the housing crisis. SPC is a registered society that offers leadership to bring the community together in creating a sustainable quality of life for everyone in the Cowichan Region.
