NYPD Arrests Homeless Man Who Learns How to Code


Due to the controversy about providing coding lessons to the homeless, NYC programmer and self-proclaimed entrepreneur Patrick McConlogue has gotten much flak for his ideas.

His programming apprentice, "Journeyman" Leo, was learning how to program when NYPD arrested him for trespassing in a city park within the confines of the 10th Precinct, which includes Chelsea. It could be days or even weeks until Leo is released, and may be even longer until he gets his laptop back.
