Veteran Homeless Rates in Decline, But Unemployment Still Remains


In a recent census, the number of homeless veterans has declined. However, veterans seeking better employment opportunities find it difficult to land good jobs.

Due to lack of quality jobs, veterans are juggling part-time jobs to keep their heads afloat and get them off the streets. Homeless shelters experience having three or four new vets come to them asking for a place to stay.
