Santa Cruz Pilot Camp to Provide Safe Space for Homeless


Santa Cruz Sanctuary Camp organizers have submitted the first draft of their proposal to form a 2550 person pilot camp as a safe space for homeless people to sleep before the advent of winter this year.

Camp organizers seek to find a portion of land that is away from "close proximity to population or business centers," yet within easy foot or bike access to these, and also with county bus access.
