NY Nursing Professor Garners $1.5 Million Grant from HHS

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded $1.5 million Health Resources and Services Administration Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention grant to New York University College of Nursingís Tara A. Cortes, RN, PhD, FAAN, professor of geriatric nursing.

The three-year grant entails a practice/education affiliation to improve a project designed to boost interprofessional education, leadership and team-building skills for practitioners and students in tackling the complexity of medication management for vulnerable older adults in the community.
