The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation partnered with the State of Maryland in announcing "Affordable Rental Housing Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities" initiative.

The foundation gave a $1 million capital grant to create new rental housing for people with disabilities who receive either Supplemental Security Income or Supplemental Security Disability from Social Security.
