According to a report from the Boston College and Tufts University, which was published in the journal Developmental Psychology, shows low-income families with substandard housing takes toll on children.

Kids growing up in poor quality housing experience greater emotional and behavioral problems at young ages and later see their school performance suffer, says Boston College and Tufts University researchers.
