Difference between First and Second Grade Attention Problems More Profound

A new study from Duke University, which appears in the Journal of Attention Disorders issue, finds the age at which attention problems arise makes a critical difference in a child's later academic performance.

The study tackled first and second grades; but future researchers would do well to look at kindergarten as well. The data for the study was gathered spanning two decades.
