The Educational Price that Homeless Children Pay

Natalie Harris, executive director of the Coalition for the Homeless in Louisville, writes that a number of Louisvillians are unable to afford quality, safe housing in the community, and this growing need continues to rise.

She calls for Jefferson County Public School (JCPS) to designate Title I funding to further out-of-school learning, training and services to families living in shelters or on the streets.
