HHS Statement On World Polio Day


U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius remarks on World Polio Day.

She asserts that a polio-free world is a priority of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. WHile the government agency has significantly stepped up the global efforts of its Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), global partnerships are the factors who have pushed efforts to eradicate polio worldwide.
