Regular Cocaine and Cannabis Use May Increase Impulsive Behavior

In a study published in the British Journal of Pharmacology, regular cannabis and cocaine drug use may trigger addictive behaviors.

Under cannabis usage, subjects were slower, but made more errors. Cocaine use caused the participants to react more quickly, but if participants had to control their impulses they made more errors. Administered together, results show that long-term users of cocaine and cannabis were more impulsive.
