Project Journey Helps Homeless Female Veterans Cope

Project Journey is a new program funded by a $165,000 grant from the United Way of Allegheny County's United for Women initiative.

The program has helped about 10 women since August, according to Michele Margittai, the Veterans Leadership Program's director of development and community relations. Recently, the Veterans Leadership Program expanded its services for homeless female veterans and their families.
