Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is Saturday, Nov. 16, through Sunday, Nov. 24, at Appalachian State University.

The week-long recognition brings attention to issues of national poverty, hunger and homelessness with a series of events such The Third Annual Gobbler 5k, documentary screenings, a seminar, and sponsored programs for students throughout the week.
