SNAP Enrollment Does Not Mean Enhanced Food Security or Dietary Quality


According to a new study in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, SNAP could do more to sufficiently address the problem of food insecurity and dietary quality SNAP beneficiaries need.

However, adults who received SNAP benefits and have partaken in the study showed increased consumption of refined grains compared to those not receiving SNAP benefits.
