Most Mental Health Problems Among Teens Are Left Untreated


A new study by E. Jane Costello, a Duke University professor of psychology and epidemiology and associate director of the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy, finds that more than half of teens with mental health problems receive no treatment of any sort.

The study was published online in Psychiatric Services and supported by NIDA, NIMH and the NIMH Intramural Research Program.
