Researchers from UCL (University College London) in a study published in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health have found that childhood deprivation promotes damaging health behaviors in adult life.

The researchers found that addressing early socioeconomic inequality issues are just as important as encouraging smoking cessation, and understanding the increased risk of early death.
