Tax Reforms to Improve College Affordability, Access, and Completion, Experts Say

Higher education experts called on Congress to reform tax-based student aid to make sure it reaches the low- and middle-income families who most need it to access and complete college.

The Consortium for Reform of Higher Education Tax Benefits has made a series of recommendations to simplify and better target tax-based aid in its letter to the Senate Committee on Finance and the House Ways and Means Committee.
