Homelessness may, or may not, be obvious. It can take many forms and often difficult to spot.

People, who have been homeless, or those who have been pushed to the brink of homelessness, say that external, accidental events can combine with personal decisions to push people into trouble. Small setbacks, such as a job gone bas or a small crime, can snowball into major problems for people, leaving them looking for temporary shelter.
