The E-Team Machinist Job Training program gets a $47,000 grant from the Department of Housing and Economic Development, enabling the staff to finish the class.
The E-Team program is a free machinist training program that teaches basic machining and manufacturing techniques. Class participants learn from the program and they get to build things in classes taught almost primarily by men retired from the manufacturing and shipping field.
