San Francisco has recently introduced Promptly, an application to send text message updates for clients at the San Francisco Human Services Agency (HSA).
Code for America Fellows at City Hall, in partnership with the HSA, has developed the app. The app will first be issued to CalFresh clients, then press on to other programs. To date, the Promptly app has 700 users signed up to receive text message notifications.
