Canadian Youth Chooses Transit-Near Urban Amenities over Suburbs


In a University of Waterloo study, young adults in Canada want to live close to transit, high-density housing, and urban core areas rather than settle in suburbs.

The study will be published in an upcoming issue of the Canadian Geographer. The study is part of a larger effort by professor Markus Moos of the Faculty of Environment at Waterloo, to provide a more distinctive appreciation of the geography of Canada's metropolitan areas.
