Study: DNC generated $163M in Economic Development


The city leaders of Charlotte has hired a company to study the impact of the 2012 Democratic National Convention, which was believed to have had the highest economic impact of any event in the city's history.

As it turns out, the study says the Democratic National Convention generated $163 million in economic development across the six counties taken into account: Anson, Cabarrus, Gaston, Mecklenburg, Union and York.
