New Study Exposes Alcohol Consumption is a Continuing Public Health Disaster

A new study finds that between 2007 and 2009, alcohol was a 'necessary' cause of death and, which resulted in liver disease, the main culprit of these deaths.

The study also finds that the risk of dying from alcohol consumption also varied by age group. The study is published in the scientific journal Addiction by the Pan American Health Organization, a branch of the World Health Organization.
