In a study conducted by UmeŚ University, adolescents who ate poor breakfasts showed a higher incidence of metabolic syndrome 27 years later.

It is often claimed that breakfast is important for one's health, and the study's results will help researchers and experts understand the mechanisms involved in the connection between poor breakfast and metabolic syndrome. The study is published n Public Health Nutrition.
