Seeing Race and Ethnicity in Positive Light Linked to Stronger Development in Minority Youth


The findings of a new meta-analysis summarizing 46 existing studies show that positive feelings towards one's own race and ethnicity are linked to stronger development in minority youth.

The meta-analysis is conducted by researchers at Brown University, the University of Minnesota, Arizona State University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the University of Miami. It is published in the journal Child Development.
