$5,000 Donation to Elk Grove Food Pantry

The Des Plaines Community Foundation, recently presented a $5,000 check to Elk Grove Township Officials for food supplies for the Elk Grove Township Food Pantry. The Food Pantry services Des Plaines residents, approximately 150 families

In addition to helping assure food needs are met, the Des Plaines Community Foundation assists with transportation needs, housework, snow shoveling, home repair and yard work for the elderly and disabled.
