New Study Finds Child Abuse Increase Links with Income Inequality

A new income inequality-child maltreatment study is the first comprehensive research to target child abuse in places in terms of income disparities.

The findings show that poverty is one of the strongest harbingers of child abuse and neglect. The study is to be published in the March 2014 edition of the peer-review journal Pediatrics.
