A West-Central Minnesota homeless coalition taps into a $100 million state grant to address homelessness in the area and build affordable housing.

According to Rhonda Otteson, southwest regional coordinator for the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless, most Minnesota counties don't have sufficient affordable housing for poor individuals and families, including seniors, people with disabilities and disadvantaged youth.
