Dispelling Santa Cruz Homeless Stereotypes through Telling Stories

Annette March, founder and project director of the Not the Other: The Oral Histories of People Experiencing Homelessness, aims to banish misconceptions regarding Santa Cruz's homeless residents by telling stories.

The organization publishes interviews with homeless residents. These interviews are like 'stories' that make visible those everyday lives of people who live on the street and to get people to "begin to question their own assumptions and stereotype."
